GF Revenge looks a little dated from the tour pages. The design gives me this impression. It could very well be that the site just hasn't bothered to re-design the tour to reflect more current times, so I reserve my opinion for a more thorough look inside, especially since the site was only launched in 2010, a mere three years ago.
Things don't look much more contemporary when I arrive on the members' page, but perhaps this is part of the charm or the point when trying to give an impression of amateur submitted content. I can certainly understand and appreciate this, but I did find myself wanting something a little sleeker. The members' page offers a link to GF Revenge and informs me that this is the only site I have access to through the membership. Of course, there are a hell of a lot of ads and upsells trying to get me to buy into other sites. You don't actually get any bonus sites with this one, but there is a section of bonus videos, many offered in HD. As a matter of fact, there are well over 480 bonus videos, although I wouldn't count on them being exclusive. The only other extra here is access to some live girls. It's free to create an account and you can spy on a few of the babes, but going private is likely to cost some extra money.
GFRevenge is more or less a library of supposedly amateur submitted videos. I think the site does do a really nice job of creating this kind of atmosphere, especially through the scene descriptions, which appear written by the editor. However, the films, the photos, the way in which things are shot and the various locations play a large part in creating this, as well.
So far, there are 249 amateur movies. It looks like scenes from recent years also come with sets of photos, but going back into the archive I noticed that there are only videos. I don't find this particularly upsetting since I'm more interested in the videos, but some individuals may not feel the same. The number of images per set varies, but you can anticipate around 80 photos for every scene. The photography was slightly better than amateur at times, yet this just means that they are better focussed and sharper than most real snapshots. The photos can be browsed in a slideshow and downloaded in ZIP files, although you won't find many images larger than around 950x633 resolution.
Video lengths also vary between around 20 to 30 minutes depending on the action. These are definitely full-length flicks rather than amateur clips. A handheld camera is often used and the girls usually reveal a bit about themselves through chit chat. I wouldn't say that the movies start out with out-and-out interviews, but the cameraman, posing as a boyfriend, typically meets the girlfriend and, for example, asks her how her job interview went. In another type of film, the boyfriend comes across his girlfriend. In one newer film he finds his girlfriend chatting with a friend on their balcony and they ask why he has a camera. His response is that he is just experimenting. This experimentation is taken to a whole new level as the three of them eventually get it on. There are a lot of POV shots for fans and this plays well to the niche. The problem is that there aren't any downloads, just 720x400 Flash streams.
Final Verdict
GF Revenge is one of those sites you can't judge by the site design. Obviously, you need to suspend your disbelief when it comes to the movie action, but I have to admit that I was rather impressed by the way the movies played out from set-up to sex. Things seemed fairly natural and scenarios ran smoothly. There are more than enough scenes and there are weekly updates, as well, but sadly there aren't any downloads. The streams look nice and there is a filmstrip navigation feature to jump ahead or back to any point in the videos. The site could benefit from more navigational features, but the big thing is the lack of downloads. GF Revenge is really a fun site with some great looking gals and some awesome, well-played girlfriend-niche movies, but downloads would be a welcome addition to this site.
